To celebrate Hello Kitty’s 35th anniversary, Sanrio has launched several Hello Kitty applications for the iPhone and iPod Touch. One such app is iHello Kitty Tokyo in which you can dress Hello Kitty in various clothing styles associated with Tokyo neighborhoods, including a Gothic Lolita style. After playing dress up, you’ll be able to interact with Hello Kitty through the touch and tilt mechanisms of the iPhone and iPod touch to play with and listen to her. The more you interact, the more items and accessories you are unable to unlock. I’m crossing my fingers for a Sweet Lolita or Ouji style outfit from Hello Kitty.
This application has been available since last week in 77 countries. In the United States, it is available via iTunes for USD $2.99.
Has anyone tried this application out yet? What are your impressions?
